The pounding of the drum. The cry of the singers.
These were the sounds that awoke a sleeping identity.
Being alone in the wilderness for weeks at a time.
I had a chance to look inward.
This is the route of my healing journey.
In this journey, with my music, I hope to be a positive influence for the young, the old, the sick and the healthy.
We are the keepers of the Spiritual.

This CD is dedicated to the survivors of the residential schools. It is my hope this CD will bring about an awareness of who we are. For the dark times we all face in our lives, and the good times we all look forward to.
